Brazil and France sign a PPH and IP cooperation agreements

Both INPI Brazil and INPI France have signed 2 memoranda of understanding: 

1) Cooperation in Industrial Property. This will include the exchange of information and good practices on the development of IP protection systems, stimulation of innovation, management, finance and quality, among other topics. Conducting IP training and participating in events are also within the scope of the partnership.

2) Paten Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot project between both INPIs (from 1st May 2022). The PPH allow users to take advantage of an effective reduction in patent pendency, by shortening the examination process.
