Brazil and Denmark outline actions to advance cooperation in Intellectual Property (IP)

Last 13th November, in Copenhagen, Denmark, the president of Brazil's National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the Director General of the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) signed an official document outlining the third phase of their cooperation in Industrial Property.

The collaboration, initiated in 2018, focuses on strengthening the examination and protection of intellectual property assets in Brazil, promoting innovation and commercialization, and strategically using intellectual property in Latin American industrial policies. The recent mission to Denmark involved discussions on various intellectual property aspects, meetings with Danish healthcare companies, and engagement with the Brazilian ambassador. The collaboration aims to foster innovation partnerships in areas like agribusiness, healthcare, and sustainable energy.
