The Africa IP SME Helpdesk participates in the Consultative roundtable on counterfeiting in Nigeria

IP experts from the AfrIPI team spoke of its role in curtailing counterfeiting, which it achieves through awareness raising activities, its helpline, the IP Library, and the training it provides. AfrIPI highlighted its work related to Nigeria, a key regional economy and focus of investment. That work consisted of a webinar, country factsheet and AfrIPI attending the 8th EU-Nigeria Business Forum.

The Helpdesk continues to cement is presence on the ground in Africa, establishing synergies with multipliers and EU business representatives – such as the EU Delegation to Nigeria and EU Chamber of Commerce – present at the event to improve its service to business needs in African countries.
