The event aims to help all innovation professionals base their decisions on sound patent knowledge. On behalf of the European Commission, Claire Fritz, a member of both teams, will have the opportunity on the second day of the event, 5 October, to present our two initiatives to support innovation for SMEs in the EU: the EC IP SME Heldpesks and the Horizon IP Scan.
The programme is designed in a modular way, with no sessions running in parallel. It is possible to attend the whole event, or select the topics, formats or levels.
This year’s key topics include:
- Unitary Patent
- Patents and sustainable development
- Patents against pandemics: IP knowledge in the post-COVID world
- intellectual property | small and medium-sized enterprises | patent
- Live streaming available
