Overview
The High Commission of Cyprus aims at further enhancing Cyprus' political, economic, trade and cultural relations with India. The High Commission in India is led by H.E. Mr. Agis Loizou. The Cyprus Trade Centre in India is set up in the premises of the High Commission. It operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Cyprus, and the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in New Delhi. It is the Economic and Commercial arm of the Republic of Cyprus in India. Its core activities include enhancing the exports of Cypriot products and services, encouraging and facilitating foreign investment to Cyprus, promoting Cyprus as an international business centre, enabling commercial opportunities in the field of energy, promoting cooperation in the areas of research and innovation, and in toto, establishing, maintaining and developing trade, business and investment relationships between Cyprus and India.
