Sophia ZHANG is the Head of Legal Department of Beijing Guofuwenjia Law Firm(Guofu, member of S&O IP). Sophia’s practice focuses on the areas of intellectual property and she has been practicing as a registered Attorney at law in the PRC for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Guofu, Sophia worked as the Head of Trademark Department of Beijing Office for a leading Hong Kong Law firm and then the Director of Trademark and Copyright Department of a renowned Hi-tech Company. Sophia obtained her LLM degree in Sheffield University in the UK with distinction in 2004.
Sophia is experienced in both prosecution and enforcement matters and has represented a number of multinational companies on their IP related matters, she also advises corporate clients for their IP strategies and IP negotiation for licensing and transaction.
Sophia speaks English and Mandarin.
