April Wei is a qualified Chinese lawyer specializing in intellectual property (IP) strategy, digital compliance, and supply chain risk management for companies entering and operating in the Chinese market. Her expertise encompasses IP issues in digital transformation, online infringement on e-commerce platforms, data compliance frameworks, and supply chain compliance optimization. She also handles international dispute resolution, including arbitration.

She holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC). Most recently, April served as an IP Business Advisor at the China IP SME Helpdesk, where she supported European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with IP strategy, protection, and enforcement in China. Prior to that role, she worked as an Associate at a boutique IP firm in Sweden, managing trademark and industrial design prosecution and assisting with patent litigation and filings. Her experience also includes serving as Legal Counsel for a French multinational environmental corporation, advising on legal and compliance matters across the Asia-Pacific region, and working as a Judge Assistant at an Internet Court in China.

April has advised global corporations, research institutions, and SMEs across diverse sectors on navigating China's regulatory landscape, including IP protection, data protection requirements and supply chain due diligence. She is fluent in both English and Chinese.
