The Protection of Made in Italy in Foreign Markets - the International Network Supporting Industrial Property

The International IP Helpdesks are partnering up with UIBM, the Italian Office for Patents and Trademarks (Ufficio Italiano Brevetti e Marchi), for an event dedicated to the preservation of Made in Italy in foreign markets. The event, taking place in Rome on 22 October, will address the importance for businesses to protect their intellectual property (IP) when entering international markets, safeguarding the value, reputation, and competitiveness of Italian products abroad.

Together with other organizations and institutions, the International IP Helpdesk will intervene by presenting the free services it offers to European — and thus also Italian — SMEs and start-ups, including the Helpline, Book a Meeting service, training sessions, and a wide selection of online resources and factsheets to support companies in protecting and managing their IP beyond Europe.
