Description
The Africa IP SME Helpdesk will participate in the upcoming online webinar: ‘Strengthening International Competitiveness: Importance of IP for SMEs in the Fashion, Textile, and Creative Sectors in the EuroMed Region’, hosted by the International Network for SMEs (INSME). The session will take place on Wednesday 29 April at 12 p.m. (CET).
This 45-minute webinar will feature experts from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) who will explore the strategic role of intellectual property (IP) for increasing the competitiveness of SMEs operating in the fashion, textile and creative industries. Participants will gain insights into how effective IP management can support international expansion, particularly within the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The session will also provide an update on the latest developments in EU design legislation, offering practical guidance for businesses looking to safeguard their creative assets. In addition, attendees will be introduced to the tailored support services offered by the Africa IP SME Helpdesk, designed to assist SMEs in protecting and leveraging their IP rights across borders.
This webinar is organised as part of the FAB-BUS project, funded by the European Union and led by ANIMA under the Euromed Clusters Forward programme. The initiative is implemented by INSME in collaboration with Unioncamere Piemonte (Textile Sectoral Group), the Moroccan Denim and Fashion Cluster and Crea Tech Bulgaria.
By bringing together leading actors from Bulgaria, Italy and Morocco, the FAB-BUS project aims to foster sustainable business partnerships and strengthen cross-border collaboration in the textile, fashion, creative and design sectors across the EuroMed region.
Participants are encouraged to join this informative session and learn how IP can be a key driver of growth and international success.
