Intellectual Property and the Advanced Framework Agreement: Exploring opportunities for SMEs in Chile and the European Union

Eurochile, the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago, and the Latin America IP SME Helpdesk are coming together to organize a hybrid event focused on Intellectual Property for businesses, highlighting concrete opportunities for SMEs operating between Chile and the European Union. The session will provide a practical overview of key IP rights, comparative insights between the EU and Chile, and an analysis of how the new Advanced Framework Agreement (AFA) strengthens protection and market access, including innovation, patenting, and geographical indications.

The event will take place on Friday, 16 January 2026, from 11:00 hrs, at the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago, with both in-person and online participation available.
