EuroCham Laos, in collaboration with the South-East Asia (SEA) IP SME Helpdesk, an initiative of the European Commission to support European Union (EU) small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights (IPR) in SEA , will host a webinar on the topic "Brand Protection in Laos – Implications for SMEs in the region".
Strategically positioned to be Southeast Asia's new logistic hub with an expanding high-speed railway, Laos offers unique opportunities and challenges for SMEs. These factors hold relevance for organizations with an established presence in the country, as well as for other companies in the region offering goods and services, even if not formally incorporated in Laos.
Dino Santaniello, External Expert of the SEA IP SME Helpdesk and Head of Tilleke & Gibbins in Laos will discuss this topic to raise awareness on what these challenges and implications are, and how organizations can expand the geographical scope of protection of their IPR to effectively protect their brands via trademark registration.
Whether you're based in Laos or a neighbouring country, join us for a morning seminar dedicated to safeguarding your organization's most valuable assets!
