Hybrid Training | From the Ground Up: Industrial Building Design, Maintenance, and Digitalisation

For the 2023 China International Industry Fair (CIIF) in Shanghai, the EU SME Centre and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce are organising a workshop with two European SME founders linked by their complementary expertise in optimising the lifecycle of industrial buildings for clients all over China. The workshop will also provide SMEs with best practices on the protection of intellectual property rights in the context of business digitalisation. 

Daniel Heusser, President and Chief Architect of Virtuarch International, will present the multidisciplinary approach that led him and his team to design and implement a wide range of industrial and R&D projects in China. In the field of maintenance and digital technology applied to industrial facilities, Bruno Lhopiteau, Founder and Managing Director of Siveco China, will explain how his company set out to address unfulfilled needs in the Chinese market by combining industrial expertise and software solutions.

To assist European SMEs entering or already active in the Chinese market, Lisa Lu, IP Business Advisor at the EU-funded China IP SME Helpdesk, will share practical guidance on IPR protection for software. 

This free workshop will be held in English. It is open to all interested SMEs from European Union Member States and countries participating in the Single Market Programme. Registrants are welcome to join the workshop online or onsite at CIIF Shanghai.
