Description: 

“How to Protect your IP in India”is an event organised by the ICS in collaboration with  India IP SME Helpdesk aiming to apprise SMP SMEs on Intellectual property laws in India .

Organizers:

ICS is an export service organisation offering information and advice to export-oriented companies of the Styrian economy. ICS has been providing local businesses with information on internationalisation for almost 20 years.

India IP SME Helpdesk offers free first line IP assistance service for SMEs from EU and SMP associated countries that operate or intend to access the Indian market and look to improve their global competitiveness.

Objective:

The main objective of the session is to raise awareness about the market opportunities that India offers for EU SMEs. The session will focus on  intellectual property protection strategies in India and how best steps to take prior internationalising to India. 

The session will also educate SMEs on importance of Intellectual property protection in the Industrial 4.0 era and will apprise on enforcement measures available to protect intellectual assets in India.
