Description
In partnership with the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys (PIRP) and the EU SME Centre, this conference aims to enhance the understanding of European small and medium-sized enterprises of the specificities of the Chinese market, preparing them for potential challenges and equipping them with the tools required to seize its opportunities.
Two experts of the market, Alessio Petino from the EU SME Centre, and Catherine Heng Yee Huynh from the China IP SME Helpdesk will present the commercial channels available, compliance requirements and IPR considerations for SMEs entering the market. Join this event to:
- Get an updated overview of the Chinese market, its specificities and main caveats to be considered.
- Compare the pros and cons of different commercial channels available to SMEs, ranging from e-commerce platforms to brick-and-mortar stores.
- Be aware of the challenges and barriers, including to remain in compliance with Chinese regulations, to build solid partnerships and to remedy potential problems, avoiding costly mistakes.
- Assess your intellectual property protection strategies, with insights into the best practices for IPR protection in China and the legal options available in case of infringement.
This free event is open to SMEs from all EU Member States and countries participating in the Single Market Programme. Participants can join the event onsite in Warsaw or online.
