Description
This networking event is suitable for any industry or topic with an interest in participating, coordinating, or taking information on international projects within the Eureka calls. Such as: Universities, research centers, start-ups and scale-ups, SMEs and large companies, associations, public authorities / governmental organizations.
On 13 June, Senior Innovation Manager, Ivana Vuka, will provide insights into the important role of critical actors in the regional innovation system to ensure an agile and resilient society on a dedicated session "Impact Licensing as A Strategic Approach to Resilient Innovation for Regional Emergency Response"
This session aims to illustrate how impact licensing can effectively expedite access to critical technologies, including data, during regional emergencies such as earthquakes, pandemics, or environmental emergencies. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing impact licensing for 'frugal innovation', facilitating local production, and fostering sustainable technology transfer in the aftermath of emergencies. Bringing together experts in impact licensing and representatives from NGOs active in crisis response and Eureka members of the upcoming Resilience call, this session will showcase how innovation within companies and research universities can be harnessed to build resilient societies. Additionally, it will underscore the pivotal role of key intermediaries within regional innovation ecosystems.
