Description
As the world’s largest network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international goals, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is preparing for its 2024 Annual Conference in Budapest, 6-8 November.
This year’s event, themed ‘Boosting the Potential of European SMEs’, will welcome over 800 onsite participants. It will focus on how EEN can continue supporting SMEs in navigating today’s complex economic landscape, emphasising industrial transformation, scaling up, and innovation.
In light of ongoing challenges like economic recovery, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical uncertainty, the EEN’s 2024 conference will centre on four main themes to help SMEs succeed.
- Quality & Impact: Sharing strategies to strengthen SME capabilities and skills, foster regional collaboration, and ensure EEN services remain impactful and visible to SMEs.
- Innovation & Start-ups: Offering insights on public procurement, intellectual property management, and scaling up.
- Industrial Transition: The sessions will address adopting sustainability practices, AI, and strengthening resilience in line with the EU’s green and digital transition goals.
- Single Market & Beyond: Helping SMEs navigate the EU Single Market and expand into international markets.
The China IP SME Helpdesk will attend in order to connect with SMEs interested in the China market to help them protect their IP.
