European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has recently announced that the call for applications to the SME Fund 2023 will be open from 23 January to 8 December 2023.

Thanks to the joint efforts of both IP Key Latin America and the EUIPO, the Mexican Institute of IP (IMPI) has just found common grounds with the criteria listed under the EUIPO's Common Communication (CP6) — Convergence on graphic representations of designs - Common Communication.

Cláudio Furtado, President of INPI, and Christian Archambeau, EUIPO's Executive Director, both met on May 31 to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), for the following 4 years between the institutions.

On 21 October, the ‘Africa IP SME Helpdesk’ was launched in Rome, under the auspices of the EU-African SME Summit 2021. From now on, EU businesses will be able to find detailed and practical information on African intellectual property matters

The EUIPO Observatory's fourth call for proposals aiming to raise awareness on the benefits of protecting IP rights is closing on June 8.
