Thailand: Further Update on Draft Amendments to the Thai Patent Act

Following our alert earlier this month detailing the merger of invention and product design draft amendments of the Thai Patent Act into one draft (the "New Draft"), we are now at liberty to provide further details of the significant revisions. As mentioned in our previous alert, the Department of Intellectual Property ("DIP") scheduled the public hearing of their New Draft for 30 September to 31 October 2020, which has now passed.
