Singapore: Health Sciences Authority issues alert on adulterated and counterfeit health products

On 23 December 2024, the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) issued an alert to members of the public not to purchase or consume two products. The HSA’s analysis of the products revealed that one product contained potent medicinal ingredients, and the other was a counterfeit product. Both products have caused adverse effect in consumers, with one consumer even requiring hospitalization.
