Online IP infringement jumps 286% as five-month filings hit 31,917 amid OECD push

From January to May, Thailand recorded 31,917 intellectual property applications for trademarks, patents, and designs, marking an 8.72% increase over the same period in the previous year. While the total number of IP infringement cases handled by authorities decreased, cases involving online channels surged by 286%, indicating a significant shift from physical markets to digital platforms.
