New Survey on the Development of the Codes of Practice on Industry-Academia Co-Creation and Citizens’ Engagement

The European Commission (EC) is inviting stakeholders to contribute their feedback on two draft documents: the draft Code of practice on industry-academia co-creation for knowledge valorisation and the draft Code of practice on citizens’ engagement for knowledge valorisation. All interested stakeholders are encouraged to share their opinions by participating in the surveys. This presents an opportunity for various parties to provide their insights and perspectives on these important topics related to knowledge valorisation.

These two draft codes of practice have been developed in response to the Council Recommendation on guiding principles for knowledge valorisation. They aim to offer practical and detailed guidance on industry-academia co-creation and citizen engagement, with the goal of enhancing knowledge valorisation. The EC seeks to gather additional input to refine and finalize these codes of practice. Once completed, these codes will serve as valuable tools to raise awareness and provide guidance to research and innovation stakeholders, helping them implement effective practices for knowledge valorisation. Stakeholder feedback is instrumental in shaping these codes and ensuring they meet the needs of the community.

The surveys will remain open until 20 October 2023.
