The rise of the digital economy in Southeast Asia has brought data protection to the forefront of legal and business discussions. The ASEAN-6—comprising Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam—are shaping their data protection frameworks to address both global standards and regional needs.
