Mexico ranked 11th most innovative IP Office in the world

The World Trademark Review annual IP Office Innovation Ranking reveals the trade mark agencies at the cutting edge. This year, IMPI Mexico occupies 11th place out of the top IP offices.

WTR’s IP Office Innovation Ranking is a multi-year project to identify how IP offices are using and developing value-added, non-core offerings for users. They assess trademark offices on service offerings, including digital capabilities, dispute resolution, SME support, enforcement cooperation, and public outreach. The project aims to highlight the ways in which many IP offices are expanding beyond managing IP registers and shine a light on registries with gaps in particular tools and services. 

The EUIPO is ranked the most innovative IP Office in the world. Besides, INPI Brazil ranked  19th.
