
The Paris AI Action Summit, co-chaired by India and France, concluded with 58 countries signing a joint statement on "Inclusive and Sustainable Artificial Intelligence for People and the Planet". The summit focused on ethical, safe, and inclusive AI development, emphasizing human rights protection and addressing AI-driven inequalities. A key outcome was the launch of a Public Interest AI Platform and Incubator to bridge public-private AI efforts and promote a trustworthy AI ecosystem through capacity building in data, transparency, and financing. The summit highlighted the importance of aligning AI initiatives with existing multilateral frameworks and emphasized global priorities such as AI accessibility, transparency, job creation, sustainability, and international governance.
