After months of uncertainty surrounding the availability of FIFA tournaments in one of football’s largest and fastest-growing markets, FIFA has reached an agreement with Zee Entertainment to broadcast and distribute a broad portfolio of FIFA competitions in India from 2026 to 2034.
The deal includes the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup™ and the 2030 FIFA World Cup™, ensuring nationwide access to FIFA’s flagship competitions through Zee’s television and digital platforms.
As part of the partnership, Zee has secured the rights to broadcast 39 FIFA events over an eight-year period, including men’s, women’s and youth tournaments.
The agreement aims to increase the popularity of international football in India by making it available on a wide range of platforms. This is a particularly important initiative given the significant interest that the Indian market is showing in this area.
