The winners of the 2026 DesignEuropa Awards have been announced, marking the 10th anniversary of the European Union Intellectual Property Office’s (EUIPO) flagship initiative celebrating outstanding design and the importance of its protection through the EU design system.

Held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, this year’s ceremony brought together designers, businesses and intellectual property professionals from Europe and beyond. The awards showcase designs that combine creativity and innovation while demonstrating how design can contribute to everyday life, economic growth, competitiveness and societal progress.

The 2026 edition recognised achievements across several categories, including the Entrepreneurs and Small Companies Award, Industry Award, Next Generation Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and Public Choice Award. Together, the categories highlight contributions ranging from emerging designers and smaller businesses to established industry players and individuals with a lasting influence on the design landscape.

Celebrating ten years of the DesignEuropa Awards, this year’s edition also underlines the role of design rights in protecting creativity and supporting innovation, enabling designers and businesses to safeguard their work and strengthen their competitive position in the market.
