Delhi High Court Issues Dynamic Injunction to Protect Fashion Designer Rahul Mishra's Copyright and Trademark

The Delhi High Court issued a "John Doe" dynamic injunction to protect fashion designer Rahul Mishra's copyright and trademark, prohibiting the production, distribution, and sale of counterfeit gowns and ensembles replicating his designs under the "Rahul Mishra" brand. The ruling targets online platforms and e-commerce sites, specifically addressing the website www.rahudress.com, which allegedly sold counterfeit dresses using Mishra's copyrighted images. The court recognized Mishra's ownership of the "Rahul Mishra" trademark and copyright to his original designs and directed the Domain Name Registrar to freeze the infringing domain and disclose registrant information.
