A wide range of amendments to the Copyright Act 1987 are being considered to enhance Malaysia’s copyright framework for the digital age. The Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) said this will include proposals on artificial intelligence (AI), online piracy, orphan works, artists’ resale rights and copyright dispute resolution.
