Yue Li is a PRC-qualified lawyer and patent attorney, and a partner at Liu Shen & Associates. Travelling regularly between Europe and China, she acts as the firm’s Europe representative and assists clients with China-related and cross-border intellectual property matters.
Yue’s practice covers patent litigation, patent invalidation, patent prosecution, technology licensing, and IP strategy. She advises Chinese and international companies on patent enforcement and defence in China, portfolio management, licensing negotiations, freedom-to-operate issues, and dispute resolution strategies, including litigation, ADR and settlement mechanisms.
With a Ph.D. in Telecommunications from the University of Oxford, Yue has a strong technical background in ICT and standards-related technologies. Her experience includes telecommunications, software, electronics, video codecs, IoT, and standards-related patent matters, including SEP/FRAND disputes.
Yue speaks Mandarin Chinese and English.
