Trademark Application and Trade Fair Participation

An Italian start-up designs swimsuits made from eco-friendly materials, including recycled fishing nets from the sea. Recognising that China is a big market for swimwear, the SME decided to attend one of the largest trade fairs in China to explore business opportunities and learn about the market. Prior to the fair, the SME was approached by one of the major e-commerce platforms in China. The SME was offered a possibility to launch their products on the e-commerce platform. In addition, the e-commerce platform would help to register the SME’s trademark in China.
