Description

Located in the heart of Germany and co-founded in 2019 by two long-time friends, QubeDot develops and manufactures μLEDs and CMOS-integrated μLED-displays as well as forward integrated μLEDbased products such as digital analysis devices for demanding high-tech applications. This case study highlights how the German start-up successfully engaged in EU collaborative research and achieved rapid scale-up, supported by the European Innovation Council (EIC). Notably, the company is the first to secure funding across the full spectrum of EIC instruments, completing the entire EIC journey from EIC Pathfinder to EIC Transition, and now the EIC Accelerator.
